The Package
From day one, The Galleon wanted a bespoke package putting together to suit the needs of their Pembrokeshire based business.

We began by creating a bespoke logo, the client already had an existing logo which they have used in their existing branding. Therefore, we knew that we needed to continue the nautical theme of the existing branding and restaurant. We came up with a few concepts and ideas for designing a digital logo. 

We thought that an old ship wheel (helm), would be suitable to outline the logo, making it more suitable to be made into favicons. Also, we thought that we could use the space inside the wheel to also include the name of the Pembrokeshire business. 

Once the client approved the final design, we could begin designing the website.

Client Brief
The Galleon wanted a website that captures the feel of the business. From already having the logo designed, we could use the colour scheme of the logo to inspire the design of the website. 

Once we had the colour scheme, a modern layout and the requested typography selected, the design was finalised.  

The Process
We then started inserting their information, beginning with inserting their images of the inside of the restaurant and some of the menu items. The client also wanted all of their staff members to be featured on the website somewhere. As part of their package, the Galleon wanted some professional drone photography filming for them, which could later be used in promotional videos and as static images on their website.  

They also wanted a website that had an ‘about us’ section, a menu page and a way of booking a table. We achieved this brief by creating multiple pages on the site that included all of this information, a line up of their staff with a brief description under each employee, a booking form and even an advert near the bottom of the page as the client is looking for staff.

Once the website was complete, we could use the design to create a PembsMag advert for The Galleon. This allowed them to reach a wider audience and advertise themselves further in the county. 

The Delivery
Within a short period of starting the project, we had helped The Galleon Inn establish a brand identity online through their logo redesign, the professional website and promotional videography.
